How do you use mathematical variation in commercial photography?

Unclear reference:

math can be used to adjust the F-stop to the shutter speed for focal point.

math can be used in slope and angle of the background items to bring them all in upright. Generally done with the tilt of the lens board.

math can be used to associate the number of items in the picture to create a eye pleasing balance.

i need help in commercial photography ?

i am a beginer photographer - work in a advertising company - they make a blyer each 15 day for a market -its include 50 items and i take these pictures - i need any ideas or suggestion to make these itmes more interset and not just regular borring images - and how i can develop my style in commercial photography specialy and keep in mind that i have an exellent knoldge of photoshop ,,,,please help
