Photo magazine choices?
Okay, so I've been looking at these two magazines.

I've bought a Digital Photo one before, and I liked it. I'm just wondering whether the first one is better?
Does anyone have a preference between these? I'll be getting a subscription as a gift at Christmas, just not sure what to get.
If you know of any other Photography magazines that you prefer, let me know? (:
Help appreciated.
Both the mags you've linked to are very informative and both are worth buying and reading. I subscribed to Digital Photo for 3 years 2006,7,8 bought the binders and I have these on my bookshelf as a reference and I do look into them and use them. When I decided to stop buying DP I bought PP for a year or so. Digital Photography is very much into tutorials, Practical Photography is more into reviews and articles. If you want to learn about digital manipulation go for DP, otherwise, PP.
Having said all that, all the info you could ever wish for is available free online. Just google and there you are. If you want to get into photography seriously, check out the Royal Photographic Society. There is also a RPS forum which you can join without having to be a RPS member.

Hope this link works for you! If you join the RPS you get a magazine sent to more or less monthly which far surpasses anything you'll find in the newsagents.
