What Are Some Good Photography Books?
I'm looking for a book about photography, not a how-to book, but like a story of photography, one that will inspire me, and won't want to put it down. :D

compilations by ansel adams,alfred stieglitz,annie loebowitz,stiechen,and there are very good older bound series like "u.s. camera" which had yearbooks of the best pictures taken any one year from journalistic sources etc! the very earliest photographer had excellent glassplate negatives of very fine detail and contrast!!matthew brady during the civil war and western expansion and indian wars periods!edward curtis for portraits of american indians,tribal life, villge life and regalia!! there was an excellent old ,time-life series of bound editions on the art of photography! this had lighting charts,special effects,lens analysis,information on the uses of lighting and lens filters,formulas,solarization style effects and many superb photo examples from top photographers!! digital camera makers like sony,canon and fuji have great support help files on their websites concerning the use of cameras that they make!!some tutorials also!stock and custom photography websites are abundant...each photo sometimes is accompanied by lens settings,types of film and exposure times and the like!!
