OK so I need dome Photo Shoot ideas and tips?

I am having a photo shoot next week and I need some tips or ideas.
I am gonna take some pics with my dog too ( red nose pitbull )
so any ideas, tips or poses?

Well as it's near Halloween you could do a spooky theme, or even just a fall theme. Depending on where you live you could get some shots of people around the trees, a park would be a great place to do this at! Erm, think of some fall sports and put a funny twist on this, (i.e. pom poms for the boys and a football for the girls.), or just us the local football field as a place to shoot. If you don't want to totally go with the spooky theme, if you have an interesting cemetery nearby use that. Just make sure you don't get any pictures with the names on them, as you don't want to deal with hacked off relatives. Also! fields either harvested or unharvested work wonders , just make sure you either ask permission or at least leave things undisturbed, as you don't want an angry farmer coming after you with a shot gun! Speaking of leaves, depending on how many people you have at your shoot, you can get shots of every one in the piles of leaves!

As for your dog just get some basic shots of you two together playing, or even set up a white long sheet and take some shots of you two against it, use a chair for posing or even a step ladder.
