I need an elementary digital camera course on iso, apperature settings, etc. Any good tutorials online?
I have a Kodak 712 IS with 12x optical zoom. I don't have any training in photography and find that when I zoom, many of my pix are getting blurry, despite stabilizing the camera. Normal shots with the Smart Scene setting are ok, but I believe I need to use some of the other settings, such as ISO and aperature, for dim lighting and zooming. I don't find any basic info on photography on the Kodak site, other than the user manual, which seems to assume I already know all those terms. I need a website that will get me started using the many features on today's digital cameras. Thanks. judson

I can also recommend this book as an excellent source for a beginner. "Get the Most from Your Digital Camera," by Simon Joinson.

I am sure that it is not "everything" Simon knows about photography, but it is sure to help you get started.
