What is the best FREE photo editing software for a MAC apple lap top? Can you get Irfan View on a Mac?
I loved Irfan View, but I cant download it on my Mac. I have a OS X, so what are the BEST FREE photo editing programs? What do they offer?
If you need a powerful Photoshop-style photo editor, try GIMP. This is a Unix program which can run on OS X - though you need to install Apple's X11 window system to run it.

If you're happy with slightly less functionality and don't want to install X11, try Seashore. Seashore is based on GIMP but doesn't have the full feature set. It does however have a more Mac-like look & feel to it.
