How can I get a small photography business started?

I don't have equipment to take pictures professionally. All I have is two digital cameras. One is a Kodak camera, which has 10X zoom and only 5 mega pix. I also recently bought a smaller Canon Powershot with 6 mega pix. I've taken some really great shots over the past year, and even though my cameras aren't much, they came out really great. I was wondering if there is a cheap way to learn how to get a small business started. I would like suggestions maybe on books, or life experiences from others.

Keep in mind that I'm trying to start this on a small budget.
I'm not sure where I should even begin to start thinking of how I would do this.

I am a prof. photographer and use a camera I found 5 years ago in a pawn shop(sony mavica) for $125.00 It;s all in how you use the camera.. Istarted by doing some portraits in a local department store, I paid them $75.00 to rent a small space in the main isle of the store for the weekend. I took 27 portraits in 2 days , added some backgrounds to them and printed them at home that night. I offered 1day service to the customer and made alot of money that weekend. 3weeks later the store manager called and wanted me to come back because people kept asking where's the picture guy. I stayed set up in that store for 3 years, I now have a very nice studio in my home and still work doing portraits and glamour shots.just be inventive,and you will make it happen.
