Question on Digital SLR Tips?

Hello Folks, my buddy just picked up a SLR camera. He thinks he going to be some rocking photographer or something, unfortunately he has no idea how to use the camera the way it should be used and to its fullest extent. He just knows the basics and his photos are not that appealing.

I'm not a photographer or anything but I do want to help him out before he makes a fool of himself.

Does anyone know of any products or websites on Digital SLR Tips that will teach him the fundamentals of photography and how to use the camera correctly?

He shouldn't worry to much about making a fool of himself, we all had to start somewhere right? In my eyes, criticism is good. It tells you what areas you need to improve on.

I did a Google search on some of the top photography training products and came across a few sites that you might what to check out. One really caught my eye and appear to be on topic. I put the link in the resource box for your convenience.

What I liked about it is the comparison of photography training ebooks and the professionalism of the website.
