Book for learning how to use light to take better photography shots?

I am looking for a book that explains and teaches how to use available light in digital cameras. I own a 7D with 5-6 L lenses and one 580exii but I struggle with composing light. I need a book that shows how to use the light at night and during the day. Also how to take shots using speedlites.
