It all depends on how awesome the photographer is and where you are. In L.A. that's a good package for about that prices. Make sure you get in writing everything promised and when you get it, sepcific date.

I charge $2000 for me to photograph the wedding and web hosting @ picatage.com linked through my website. All the other stuff is extra they can pay for. Not all photogreaphers charge the same and not all of us are at the same level of expertise or skill.

You do get what youpaid for, I applaud you for willing to pay money. The photographer is the only person you'll hire who works all day for you and gives(sells) you something tangible that will last for generations.
