Why Choose Photography As A Hobby?
There are many different reasons for choosing photography as a hobby. There are also many different types and subjects for photography. It can depend on what you enjoy most. For example, you may prefer still life, landscape, or even studio photography. I take a lot of my photos as landscapes and the world around me because this suits me better, but for some people this may not be the case. To me photography also is a form of memory that can be saved for future purposes. I think a lot of photography is about the beauty and complexity of things. Each photo I believe has a story to tell.
A magnificence of photographing the world around you is that you can often wait a very long time for a shot which is a unique moment that will soon be gone. Photography is also a very good way of communication, and one very superior way share your experience with others. For everyone who likes to express ideas and emotions, photography is the way forward to do it, for things that go beyond words and explanation. This hobby also has a creativity side to things, in the format of choosing what looks best in certain situations.
Digital photography is not the workings of every day life as it appears on things such as magazines to billboards. The advantage of this type of photography would be that large amounts of image data can be successfully saved onto a very small media device (for example a memory card). To sum up photography as a whole, I would say that is a way to focus on a particular subject and something that is also very therapeutic in some respects.
Photography is something that at first needs to be tried, and something that needs to be settled into comfortably.
