digital backgrounds and props how do they work?
I am aspiring photographer who loves taking pictures. I was looking online at some digital backgrounds and props. The question is does the subject have be front of a green screen for them to work or do you just simply "lasso" around your subject and place them on top the background.
I don't have a lot of space for cloth backdrops and I am starting to get request by friends and family to do photos for them. I have taken a few classes in photography and the instructor recommended that pursue this as a career
With a green or blue screen and the right software, you can make the mass of color change to "invisible" or "transparent" without have to do the lasso. Then you can take the image with the transparent surround an copy and paste it into the background. While you can do lasso, it is rather tedious and if you took your pictures with background values similar to the outfit the person is wearing, it may not quite get the line. On the other hand, whether you have the better software, a blue or green screen or equivalent even color, makes lasso easier.
