Compare and Contrast Artists - please help?

I'm working on a contrast and compare essay for art history where I have to contrast and compare two artist.

My first artist is Kelly Thompson, a New Zealand artist who does beautiful semi nude female work, with a background in photography and works 40% traditionally and 60% digital.

I'm looking for an artist who works with a similar subject, females in semi nude or nude, works traditionally so I can contrast and compare techniques. Or an illustraitor

I was thinking about using Ruben. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Some of her photography reminds me of the photographs of Ansel Adams. He didn't do nudes but the textures and contrasts are there.
