Photography ideas for in the home?

What items in the house can you photograph. I have not been using my DSLR much and I really want to get back into photography, but I would like to photograph items that are in the household. Any ideas?

I have an obsession with lamps and my pets, and that's what I normally photograph. If you don't have a pet, then just invest in a betta in a nice looking tank, and it will keep you entertained for hours, perfecting the bounce of the flash and focusing just right.

Lit lamps are also loads of fun. They don't move, and in specific times and places they can be mysterious or warm.

Other than that, I normally will find things that look cool when zoomed in on.

Here are some photos I took just in my house. My cat is my favorite model. He's so cooperative and slow that you can focus easily.
