Digital photography help?
"To what extent does the contrast (high or low) of a subject affect the picture?"
or
"To what extent does a camera's exposure settings affect the picture?"
its a scifair project. is there a difference in the questions? cuz i feel like my project is basically about changing the exposure settings to see how it affects the picture.
also, does any1 know how to read a blacknwhite histogram for digital cameras? pls lemme know. thanks :)
Exposure has to do with light. For example, on the camera there's something called shutter speed which controls how sensitive the camera is to light so the faster the shutter speed the lower the exposure which makes the picture look darker and the lower the shutter speed the more exposure the picture is. Because lower shutter speed means that more light is getting through the lens making the photo more exposed to light.
Hope that helps. (=
