Black and white photography?
I need a NON-digital camera to start a course on black and white photography. I have previously studied b&w photography but this was using a borrowed camera.
Also, is it true that I can get a normal analogue camera that allows for colour pictures and then just get a b&w film, and thus get b&w photos?
Does anyone have suggestions to which brands I might look for?
In forward, thank you very much.
Get a 35mm SLR (single lens reflex) camera. Canon, Nikon, Yashica, or any other brand who's name you've heard of. A good lens is is more important than the camera body. Go for a
f1.8 or 1.2 at 50mm as a starting point. You can probably get a decent one on E-Bay or a camera store that sells used cameras. Use BW film and you're on your way.
