What does it take to get a Degree in Photography?
I want to go for my Bachelor's in Fine arts:Digital Photography, but I don't really know if I need any special skill for that...I mean I love taking pictures, scrapbooking, and stuff for fun and it's one of my passions, but I don't know if I need a lot of experience or creativity to graduate with that degree or is that what the program teaches me?
If I don't have a lot of skill, experience, or training can I still get the degree? What would I have to do befoer school to help me work towards the degree?
Thanks
At my school to get a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Photography you need the following. 33 Units of Liberal Arts. 72 Units of Studio, and 30 elective units in any studio discipline, it takes four years. The Digital Photography classes are two courses plus an optional Digital Book class which together only comprise of nine of the 72 units of studio, except Digital Book is an elective. Basically there is a lot of Art History, and Chemical Photography courses you are not yet, or don't seem to be considering.
