On-location photography event software?

Hello!! Does anyone know of any software packages for on-location photography events?

I'm a photographer just getting into the on-location sports and events market and I'm looking for an application where I can upload the photos to the computer, categorize them, and then provide a front-end for the users to browse through the photos and possibly place orders.

I'm not looking for an online service, as I won't have Internet connectivity. I'm just looking for a software application that can be run on a computer(s), laptop(s), etc.

Have a look at Lightroom 2.0 by Adobe.
If you use Nikon than possibly Capture NX Pro would be better suited but you can not go wrong with Lightroom.
