What specs should I look for in my new laptop?

Hi

My laptop (the only computer I use) is five years old and I need a new one. Since buying my last laptop I have started doing digital photography, and have not kept current with hardware improvements. I travel a lot, so I would like something light, and I do a lot of Adobe Photoshop, so the screen and graphics ability are important (I'm also doing more and more video). I also write a blog that features a lot of photographs, and video, and I am often in places where internet connections are slow. I'm using XP but would like to go with Windows 7. I currently use a 250 GB hard drive for my photo files.

If I had an high budget, What specs should I look for in

Processor make and speed?
Size of RAM
Video Card
Screen

Any other specs I should be checking?
Any specific make and model you would recommend?

Thanks

You should look at these:

Processor-->
Any Intel or AMD processor with more than 2.2GHz

RAM--->
3Gb to 4GB RAM in essential to run Windows 7 perfectly.

Video Card---->
A dedicated Video card is essential. A dedicated video card is made by ATi or NVIDIA. Go for ATi ones are they tend to be cheaper and give more performance than NVIDIA ones.
Presently the best ones are ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 and HD 4650 with dedicated memory.
Simply dont go for those useless Intel Graphics Media Accelerator. Intel GMA is integrated and the worst video chip in the world, even ATi Integrated chip like HD 3200 is a lot cheaper and beats Intel GMA easily.

Screen---->
Normally anything around size 15.6" is good for all purposes. Lower than 15" is not good for gaming, and above 15.6" is good but will make your laptop bulky(But good for keeping at home).

Hard Disk---->
Anything above 250GB. Nowadays most are providing 320GB.

Brand---->
Dont look at brands, get the specs correct.
