What's so great about professional photography studios?
I haven't seen too many photo studios in my area that do a better job than I can do with a 500 dollar digital (and I have heard many comments to this effect - though I do get the odd crap photo, I'm sure that overpriced guy with a bachelors degree in fine arts gets them too.).
So, what's the big deal with that scrap of paper B.S.? I'm just curious, because I have yet to see much from professionals that make me think, "wow, that schooling really did that guy a lot of good..."
Not anger... Curiosity and a desire to understand why more people don't just pick up a camera and learn how to use it as opposed to paying some weird old guy in a studio lots of cash for something they can easily do on their own.
Most of the photographers with their own studios don't have a "scrap of paper B.S." .
The difference is they are making their living doing photography.
