Im not lookin to breed the fish i was just wondering if it would happen in those conditions
Well, it's pretty unlikely. For starters, they're very difficult to sex; females may be plumper, but that's the only external difference. Get a group of them instead, they'll also feel safer that.
Spawning glass catfish is very rare and usually accidental (for example, one morning you'll notice that there are small glass catfish swimming around). Try feeding a then mosquito larvae, daphnia, and bloodworms to get them in spawning condition.
Simulate the rainy season to encourage them to spawn, by doing 25% daily water changes.
Lower the water temp to about 72-74F, and reduce the water level in the tank by half.
Each day, add a small amount (5%) of soft water (or rain water) to the tank. With any luck, the female's belly will swell and she'll lay hundreds of eggs on the plants. You'll have to separate the parents from the eggs. Keep doing small daily water changes and adding soft water to help the eggs mature. When they hatch, feed them live, newly hatched baby brine shrimp.
