Is it simple to get in to a American university from England?

I'm just wondering if getting into an American college from England is simple? I'm not a straight A student in core subjects such as maths, English and science, but in other subjects such as media and art I'm achieving high grades, and I will be going on to be studying such subjects such as "Media Production" "Digital Photography" and "Film Studies" , which I'm sure I'll achieve good grades in.
But what I'm talking about is the transition from "Sixth Form" (From age 16-18) to university. From England will it be easy to apply for American colleges? And will the fact I'm from England affect their decision in any way?

Did you get an International Baccalaureate? American high schools have facile standards, so the fact you passed a challenging secondary school will actually be an advantage. Universities can not discriminate against you for being from a different country, but you might receive acceptance for a diversity programs(some schools have that). Be sure to write a positive essay and I think you will get in and do well.
